The village is positioned inside Pentwater Township.

According to the United States Enumeration Bureau, the hamlet has a total region of 1.62 square miles (4.20 km2), of which, 1.28 square miles (3.32 km2) of it is territory and 0.34 square miles (0.88 km2) is water. B-15 is a County-Designated Highway running southerly from Pentwater, closer to (but generally not inside sight of) Lake Michigan.

As of the census of 2010, there were 857 citizens , 450 homeholds, and 269 families residing in the village.
